Working Hours to be agreed with the successful candidate, ideally looking for someone who can work full time 07:30 - 18:00 over 4 days or a job share all year round but may be able to accommodate term time only working too.

About the Role:

As a Nursery Practitioner extraordinaire, you will be responsible for the development and daily management of the nursery, ensuring a high standard of learning, development, and care for children aged 0-5 years. You'll be supported by a network of professionals and will report to the Nursery Manager and the Director of Nurseries.

  • Be the guardian of our space, ensuring it's a safe, clean, and well-equipped haven for our children.
  • Be a safeguarding champion, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Be a lifelong learner, committing to continuous professional development.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, ready to meet the diverse needs of our children and families.

What You'll Bring:

  • A full and relevant Early Years Level 3 qualification is essential.
  • An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted regulations.
  • A deep-rooted awareness of health and safety, equal opportunities, and safeguarding.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
  • A proven track record in observing, assessing, and planning for children's learning.
  • A team-player attitude with excellent communication skills.
  • IT wizardry, being comfortable with various IT tools.
  • A professional, honest, reliable, and flexible approach.
  • A calm, caring, and incredibly enthusiastic nature.
  • A healthy sense of humour.
  • A profound commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
