Nursery (Preschool) Lead job summary

St Teath Preschool is looking to appoint a Nursery (Preschool) Lead Practitioner to join our talented support staff team. The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated to making a difference to children's learning. You will need to enjoy working with children and be passionate and committed to helping children develop as independent and confident individuals. This role will help support pupils to access all aspects of learning and self-help skills. You will work closely with the EYFS leader and headteacher.

The role will:

-Deliver and ensure a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 2-5 years including planning activities and assessing progress.

-Manage the day to day activities of the setting and to ensure that the nursery (Preschool) is a safe environment for children, staff and others.

-Develop partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child’s development.
