Nursery Teacher job summary

Are you an experienced and passionate Early Years practitioner who believes that all children deserve the very best learning opportunities? At Abbey View Primary Academy, we are looking for a Nursery Teacher who is highly driven and motivated, has an eye for detail, and can work creatively.

Qualifications:
Desirable – QTS
Essential - Early Years Professional Status, Early Years Teacher status or any other suitable Level 6 qualification

The role of the Nursery Teacher is to ensure all children attending Little Explorers Nursery receive high quality care, are kept safe and are provided with planned and stimulating play and experiences which meet individual needs and support all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum.

Abbey View Primary Academy is a brand new, state of the art academy in the heart of the Pine Trees Development in High Wycombe. It opened its doors in September 2019 to children in Foundation Stage, Year 1 and Year 2. The Academy will grow, year-on-year, to a two-form entry primary academy, offering places from Nursery (Sept 2020) to Year 6 and wraparound care provision.
