Are you passionate about supporting young children in their early years of learning and development? Salfords Primary School & Nursery is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and welcoming team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the foundation of our youngest learners' education within a caring and inclusive environment.

Your Opportunity

This is a rewarding opportunity to support children’s learning and development through engaging play and planned activities, while taking on key worker responsibilities for our Nursery children. You will help maintain a safe, secure, and hygienic environment, contribute to planning and assessments, and ensure accurate record-keeping. The role also involves upholding confidentiality, following safeguarding procedures, and supporting the inclusive ethos of the nursery. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, attending staff meetings and training to support your ongoing professional development.

The Details

Start Date: 1st Sept 2025 

Salary: GLF Associate 2 Point 1 -  £22,918.66 to Point 16 £24,653 (dependent on experience) 

Actual Salary: £11,912.22 - £12,813.66 (dependent on experience) 

Hours of work: 21.75hrs per week - 08:15-16:00 (Weds ,Thurs & Fri) - Term Time Only - 30min unpaid lunch 

Closing Date: 22nd Jun 2025
