We are looking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and dedicated Nurture Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering a bespoke curriculum for a small group of pupils who are unable to access the school’s universal offer. This will include core subjects and be supplemented with work around the pupils’ personal development and life skills. The role will also include planning and delivering curriculum enhancement sessions for other pupils in the school in an area of personal interest or skill. The ideal candidate will have experience of and / or an aptitude for working with pupils with SEMH. The successful candidate will be innovative and flexible in their approaches to learning.

Bure Park Specialist Academy is a residential SEMH Academy for boys from Year 2 through to Year 11. The multi-disciplinary team consists of Care Staff, Teachers and TAs who facilitate the Academy’s aims; to improve the life outcomes of our pupils by broadening pupils’ experiences and providing an aspirational education, meeting the needs of each pupil in our care and ensuring that all pupils feel respected, valued, confident in learning and ready to succeed in life Pupils arrive at the school with disrupted educational experiences and complex difficulties and our team are responsible for ensuring that they leave with superb outcomes academically, socially and behaviourally.
