What the school offers its staff
This exciting and varied role will provide you with a wide range of experiences, including:
● key working individual students
● developing your skills in working with children with SEMH/ASD/Mental Health difficulties
● supporting learning both in and out of the classroom
● co-planning and supporting a variety of creative activities
We believe in a shared team ethos, working together using flexible and supportive approaches to develop students’ learning and behaviour. Meadowbrook staff have a ‘can do’ attitude that makes a real difference to the lives of our students; many of which have become disengaged with education and lost the confidence to achieve their full potential. We are always looking for creative and innovative ways forward and offer a variety of opportunities for ongoing professional development/training. Meadowbrook College is a welcoming, nurturing and stimulating environment to work in.
Commitment to safeguarding
Meadowbrook College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff and volunteers are also expected to promote fundamental British values. This post involves the type of work with children and young people that require applicants to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post. All cases are considered confidentially and according to the nature of the role and information disclosed. On-line searches are carried out on those shortlisted
