At Auriga, our vision is to provide an integrated therapeutic service that both underpins and complements our curriculum, empowering every individual's unique voice and potential. We strive for a future where every Auriga student can make a meaningful contribution to their community by embracing their strengths, understanding and advocating for their needs, and achieving personal success.
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Richmond College Hub and work under the guidance of the Capella House Team. This Hub is for a small number of students with additional needs who previously attended specialist provision during secondary school and are now ready to access level 1-2 BTECs or GCSEs at college.
This role involves supporting all pupils assigned to the hub by delivering therapy programmes, preparing materials, and assisting with simple administrative tasks.
It is a highly autonomous role, ideal for someone who thrives on independence and initiative. You will organise your own schedule, liaise with students, teaching staff and the wider therapy team, and act as a key point of contact between the college and Capella House.
You will be based in the Capella House Therapy Office, supported by the wider Auriga Academy Trust therapy team, and will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ wellbeing and learning while working as part of a collaborative, values-driven network.
You will be joining a friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable team, and you will be able to access a wealth of training and development opportunities, including robust clinical supervision and peer support.
Why Join Us?
We provide benefits:
- Access to very competitive pension schemes
- Employee Assistance Program - available 24/7 to support you
- The Cycle to Work scheme - a brand new bike and equipment through your salary, saving up to 42%.
- Auriga Rewards benefits platform with 1000s of discounts and offers for big-name brands in retail, travel, fitness, utilities and wellbeing.
- We have committed to following nationally agreed terms and conditions for pay for both teachers and support staff
- Recruitment Referral Scheme
- Wider opportunities for career progression and professional development across the Trust, with the ability to move across different settings and divisions.
