Office Admin Assistant (Student Services) job summary

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated, well-organised, calm and reassuring individual with excellent interpersonal skills to join our Student Services Team.

You will provide a high quality, first line response to queries from students and also from parents via email, phone and face to face. The successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail and be flexible in their approach to working with people, always seeking supportive resolutions.

Your Opportunity

As a key member of the wider school office team, you will provide essential administrative support, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school.

Your duties will be varied, including looking after a wide range of student’s needs to ensure their school day runs as smoothly as possible. You will also be required to support with delivering First Aid when needed. In addition, you will support colleagues and provide a professional and friendly point of call to all parents and visitors to our school. The successful candidate will have experience of working in an administrative role, ideally at a secondary school, and should have excellent communication and organisational skills.

 It is important that you have a warm, caring and professional manner at all times, as you will be dealing face to face with students, parents and carers on a daily basis.

The Details

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: GLF Associate 2 - £23,914 FTE

Actual Salary: £20,573 

Hours of work: 36 hours per week (with unpaid lunch) - Term time only. Working hours between 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Part-time applications will be considered where the needs of the school can be met.
