About this Role

Are you an organised, proactive, and friendly individual looking for a rewarding role in Education? We are seeking a School Administrator to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in the smooth running of our school.

Shrivenham CE Primary School (which is part of Cambrian Learning Trust) is a growing and successful school with happy, well-motivated and hardworking children and staff. We have recently moved into our brand-new, purpose-built school, expanding to include a 2-4yr old Pre-School provision. We currently have 240 children on role with increasing numbers as we grow to a 1.5 form entry school.

The role is offered for 18 hours per week for 39 weeks per year, 6.5hrs x3 days a week (ideally Monday, Wednesday and Friday but can be flexible) with 30 minute lunch break.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing school records, attendance, and admissions
Handling enquiries from parents and staff
Supporting teachers and leadership with administrative tasks
Assisting the organisation of school events and meetings
Maintaining school policies and compliance documentation

We are looking for someone with strong organisational and multitasking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities and experience of working under pressure and dealing with a diverse workload. A positive, can-do attitude with keen attention to detail is essential. Previous experience in a school office would be desirable although not essential as full training will be provided.
