Then we’d love to hear from you!
This is a truly fantastic opportunity for a passionate administrator to become part of a well-established, highly collaborative and successful small school team that works hard to ensure that students receive the highest quality pastoral care so that they can have a successful and enjoyable experience of education.
As one of our administrators you’ll be an ambassador for the school when meeting parents, stakeholders and other visitors, as you will be their first point of contact. You will provide a warm welcome to all, dealing with telephone and face-to-face enquiries in an efficient and professional manner. You will ensure that all information is treated confidentially and will have absolute discretion at all times.
Our standards are high, and we need someone who can be a team player and flexible when supporting colleagues. The ability to be resilient, calm, professional under pressure with a customer focussed approach in a busy environment is essential.
We pride ourselves on having a diverse and dynamic staffing body of committed, creative and hardworking support staff who enjoy coming to work as they benefit from:
- A committed, supportive and successful team;
- Encouragement for professional development, innovation and creativity;
- Opportunities to collaborate with, and learn from, colleagues across Harbour Learning Trust
We’d like to hear from you if you:
- Have experience in dealing with telephone enquiries – diplomacy is a must;
- Can demonstrate exceptional organisation skills and experience in managing a large workload with the ability to meet rapidly changing deadlines. Juggling multiple complex tasks and responding to rapidly changing priorities is part of our day to day life;
- Must have previous experience as an administrator;
- Discretion to receive and keep private, sensitive and confidential information;
- Have experience in using up-to-date information systems such as Google Mail, Word and Excel;
- Are willing to be flexible in the tasks undertaken.
What can we offer you?
At St Giles Academy, we invest extensively in outstanding training and development opportunities. We value our staff!
As part of Harbour Learning Trust, in addition to the salary and holidays outlined, all staff have opportunity to access:
- Local Government Pension Scheme
- Employee Benefits Scheme;
- Employee Assistance Programme;

- a dedicated team committed to achieving high standards;
- a supportive, warm and welcoming ethos;
- a vibrant learning environment – for you and our children;
- an experienced and supportive leadership team, who are committed to the well-being of all staff;
