We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and friendly Office Administrator to join our supportive administrative team. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Academy and providing excellent service to staff, students, parents, and visitors.

The Role

Reporting to the Executive Headteacher, Head of Academy, or Assistant Headteacher, you will:

  • Contribute to the school’s Christian vision, values, and ethos, supporting collective worship and the spiritual development of students.
  • Provide high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the Academy.
  • Support communication between students, staff, parents, and external partners, ensuring efficient and professional information flow.
  • Organise and support key events and liaise with external organisations such as contractors and suppliers.
  • Manage admissions inquiries, maintain accurate records, and support with financial and HR administration tasks.
  • Monitor and update the school website and support the promotion of events through digital platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, data protection, and health and safety procedures at all times.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly, approachable, and committed to supporting the ethos of a Church of England school.
  • Organised and efficient, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
  • A strong communicator with good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proactive and adaptable, willing to undertake training and learn new systems.
