What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Will promote and safeguard the welfare of children in our school.
  • Will contribute to the overall values and aims of the school
  • Has excellent communication skills and can use these with all stakeholders, including parents.
  • Has excellent organisational skills and can use these to prioritise tasks.
  • Will provide general admin support in the office
  • Will have experience in being flexible to prioritise tasks
  • Will undertake day-to-day office duties including but not limited to, daily registration completion, medical needs of pupils, main reception cover, telephone and email monitoring, receiving visitors
  • Will keep high quality records and assist with the preparation of reports.
  • Will understand the need for maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.
  • Will attend and participate in relevant meetings as required
  • Will participate in training and other learning activities
  • Will be aware of all school and Trust policies and procedures and comply with them at all times.
  • Understands the need to be flexible in approach and react appropriately to last-minute changes.
  • Can work collaboratively with others to make decisions.
  • Is reflective in their practice and dedicated to continually developing themselves and others.
  • Will undertake finance admin – including but not limited to

o Enter orders for goods onto the school ordering system

o Receive deliveries, organise returns if required, investigate and resolve queries

o Research and negotiate best value pricing for goods and services

o Manage the wraparound care function in school

o Managing cash for events, trips wraparound care
