Office Apprentice job summary
We are looking to appoint an Apprentice Office Administrator who will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of departments across the school to gain a range of knowledge and skills. The successful candidate will spend time each week within our Reception team, Whole School Admin Team and our Finance Team throughout the duration of the Apprenticeship.
Duties will include; answering incoming calls, providing assistance with enquiries and directing to appropriate personnel where necessary, administrative duties to include correspondence and data input, filing both paper and electronic documents and basic finance procedures.
You will be working towards the Level 3 Business Administration Standard. Most aspects of the qualification will be completed on site and you will also attend off the job training through the apprenticeship provider.
The initial period of employment will cover the apprenticeship training period of approximately 18 months, but there may be the opportunity for permanent employment after this time.
We are looking for the following;
- Knowledge of computer packages (Microsoft)
- Good ICT skills, including spreadsheets and word processing
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work on own initiative and in a team
