Term time plus 5 days (includes inset days)
Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm (includes ½ unpaid lunch)

We are currently looking to appoint a flexible, enthusiastic, positive and well organised Office Manager/ Medical Officer who will fit well into our busy and friendly school office, where no two days are the same.
As a first point of contact, it will be beneficial for applicants to have experience of an office environment and will be necessary for them to have excellent communication skills, as well as a high commitment to standards, confidentiality and efficiency.
The role is for five days a week, with hours from 8:00am to 4:00pm with half an hour unpaid lunch. Term time ONLY plus 5 inset days
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage reception duties, handling phone and face-to-face enquiries
- Provide administrative support (registers, emails, records, filing, bookings)
- Liaise with parents and support pupil welfare, including basic first aid
- Serve as the first point of contact for all first aid, medical, and welfare concerns
- Assist with school trips, clubs, and general office coordination
- Maintain supplies and place orders with external providers
- Support recruitment processes, including adverts, candidate communication, and interview arrangements
- Maintain safeguarding records, including the Single Central Register
- Ensure all onboarding documentation and safer recruitment checks are completed
Requirements:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and IT skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel essential)
- Knowledge of SIMS
