Bluebell Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Office Manager to join the team.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has previous experience of managing a small team, covering a wide range of administrative processes

  • Has a desire for continual improvement in administrative support to the whole school

  • can use their excellent written and spoken communication skills to make sure that all interactions within the school community of pupils, parents and staff are clear, helpful and supportive

  • will support the whole school in maintaining highly effective administration to support the best outcomes for every pupil

  • has the ability to work in a team, demonstrate flexibility, commitment and an enthusiasm for working with children

  • is a forward thinker with a positive can do attitude who is committed to the provision of high-quality education for all children

Bluebell Primary school is based in Norwich, with children aged from nursery to year 6 . We pride ourselves on our wonderfully inclusive, diverse school community. A person is sought who enjoys being in a pleasant, varied and interesting working environment.

Applicants should have very good interpersonal skills; good general knowledge of ICT and data based applications, word processing and general office skills. Experience of a variety of financial management processes and procedures, budgetary management and control and knowledge of facilities management within an educational organisation is desirable but not essential. Confidentiality is essential for this post, together with excellent organisational and time management skills.

Personal qualities are also of paramount importance and the person appointed will be expected to display enthusiasm, energy, good humour, flexibility and reliability. They must also have the ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.
