Are you an organized, proactive professional ready to lead the administrative operations of a vibrant primary school?

We are seeking a highly efficient Office Manager to oversee the daily functions of our school’s office, ensuring smooth and effective support for staff, students, and parents.

📍 Location: Isle of Ely
📅 Contract: 30 hours per week, term time + 2 weeks or all year round (Flexibility on hours but ideally working part time Monday to Friday)
💼 Salary: £30,060 - £33,366 (FTE) Grade G

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the school’s administrative team, ensuring high standards of performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure the smooth and effective running of the school office, including handling complex inquiries, telephone calls, and emails.
  • Oversee pupil attendance, admissions, exclusions, and records in line with school procedures.
  • Assist the Headteacher in arranging cover for absent staff.
  • Maintain and ensure confidentiality of all HR, financial, and pupil information.

  • Experience in office management or a similar administrative role, preferably within a school or educational setting.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage staff workloads and office functions efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle complex inquiries and engage with staff, students, and visitors.
