We have a new and exciting opportunity to appoint an Office Manager to lead our school administration team.
As an Office Manager you will provide high-level administrative and organisational services to the school under the direction of the Headteacher and Senior Leaders, overseeing the administrative functions of the school.
Key duties would be:
- To provide support to the Headteacher, Executive Headteacher and Senior Leadership team;
- Liaise with the Trust Human Resources;
- Manage the school office and administration team;
- Liaising with staff, pupils, parents and carers and outside agencies.
The successful candidate would need:
- Level 2 qualifications (or equivalent) including English and Maths at least grade C.
- Experience of development, management and operation of administrative systems.
- Proven experience of working as a PA or Secretary for a senior manager.
- Experience of supervising staff, including managing the performance of others.
- Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with staff at all levels, pupils, parents, suppliers, governors and visitors.
- Ability to work confidentially, keeping work-related issues and discussions in the workplace.
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload to achieve deadlines.
An NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration and / or experience of working in a similar role in an education environment would be an advantage.
