We are looking to appoint an organised, flexible, friendly and reliable person to join our outstanding team. Greenhall is a Special School for children in the Early Years with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. We also have a governor-run nursery onsite - Little Learners. A child-centred approach is at the heart of all that we do and we want all children to ‘fly’ in all aspects of school life. We believe effective relationships that provide high support and high challenge are crucial and knowing our children and families well is foundational to this.

The office is an integral part of the school and the person appointed will play a central role in our community - you must be willing to take part in all aspects of school life!

Working under the direction of the Headteacher and Trust central team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school’s administrative, financial, HR and health and safety processes. You will support staff, parents and visitors, maintain accurate records and systems, and help ensure our school continues to run efficiently and safely.

The successful candidate will;

Have excellent interpersonal skills; you will be dealing with people both in person and on the telephone. As the first contact point for both families and professionals, the ability to welcome and help people in a sensitive, kind and professional way is essential.

Have experience of school or business administration, finance, HR or health and safety processes

Be confident using ICT systems and able to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines

Work well as part of a team and build positive relationships with colleagues, parents and pupils

Be well organised, efficient and good at multi-tasking

Be flexible and willing to turn your hand to whatever the day brings!

Is willing to go the extra mile for our children, families and wider community

Cares about details and has high standards

Can remain calm in difficult situations and is not afraid to ask for help when needed

Has a warm, welcoming and infectious smile that lights up their face - this smile is there to greet our children, families and fellow staff to show them how loved, special and valued they are! You will be one of the first faces our families see in the mornings so this really matters!

Is creative, able to think outside the box and work with others to find sustainable solutions

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate. We are offering the opportunity to work in a school with a committed, welcoming and highly dedicated staff team. We believe in championing our staff to be the best that they can be. Training, support and coaching will be offered to the successful candidate to ensure they are successful in their duties. As part of the Creative Learning Partnership Trust, you will be part of a supportive network of office and finance professionals across our family of schools, with opportunities for collaboration and professional development.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service, references and medical clearance.
