What skills and experience we're looking for

One to One Tutor of English £17.83 to £35.78 per hour, dependant upon qualifications (£35.78 QTS, £25.77 Relevant Degree but no QTS, £17.83 no degree and no QTS)

To start as soon as possible following clearances

Starting on 14 hours per week, however, the hours are variable due to the position being on a casual, ad-hoc basis.

Outwood Academy Easingwold is an 11-18 academy located on the outskirts of the beautiful market town of Easingwold, easily accessible from Thirsk, Ripon, York, Boroughbridge and surrounding villages. We are extremely proud of our tradition of serving the families of the community of Easingwold and surrounding areas. You will be joining a strong department with a wealth of experience in teaching English at Key Stage 3 and GCSE. The department is led by our experienced Head of Department, with a vision to succeed. Our results are exceptionally high. This comes through both expert quality first teaching but also swift identification of gaps in knowledge and that is where our 1:1 provision really makes the difference. You don't need to be a qualified teacher! Maybe you have just graduated, gained a degree and are wanting to see if teaching is for you? a fully qualified Teacher with QTS wanting ad hoc hours? either way we would love to hear from you.
