Science Teacher - National Online School
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Science Teacher to join our National Online School team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, high-quality Science lessons to GCSE students, with potential to extend to A Level for suitable candidates. The TCES National Online School provides therapeutic, virtual education for pupils with complex needs, including neurodiverse learners and those experiencing emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA). Our teachers create inclusive, differentiated lessons tailored to each pupil’s abilities and learning plan, helping them overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.
The Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering creative, pupil-focused online lessons, developing and implementing differentiated schemes of work, supporting students to achieve academic, social, and emotional targets, and collaborating with teaching, pastoral, and clinical colleagues to embed therapeutic approaches in lessons. The role also includes contributing to curriculum development within the Science faculty, creating an engaging virtual learning environment, upholding safeguarding responsibilities, and participating in team meetings, training, and whole-school initiatives.
