ONSITE ALTERNATIVE PROVISION MANAGER job summary

We are seeking an exceptional, compassionate and highly organised Onsite Alternative Provision Manager to lead our newly established internal Alternative Provision Hub from September 2026. Based in our newly renovated on-site provision, this is an exciting opportunity to shape and develop a provision that will transform outcomes for students who require additional support to succeed.

This pivotal role will oversee the day-to-day operation of the hub, providing a structured, nurturing environment where students can re-engage with learning, develop positive behaviours, and successfully reintegrate into mainstream education. Working closely with our inclusion team, teaching staff, parents and external agencies, you will coordinate personalised timetables, deliver targeted interventions, manage enrichment opportunities, and ensure every student receives the right support at the right time. A qualified and enthusiastic individual to motivate, inspire and coach others to achieve.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

An individual able to work under their own initiative with eexperience of leading or managing a team

Experience of working with young people in an Educational setting

Experience of supporting students with behavioural , social, emotional or attendance needs

Experience of planning and delivering interventions

Experience of working with parents and external agencies

A good listener and a sense of humour
