Operations Manager job summary

We are looking for a professional, highly motived and organised Operations Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team. In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational support, ensuring our school operates seamlessly so that our dedicated teachers and support staff can focus on what matters most: the students.

This is a full time, all year-round role, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year with 26 days annual leave allowance, rising to 29 days after 5 years service.

About you:

Our ideal candidates is someone who:

  • Has experience of working in a busy, medium sized organisation at senior level with a track record of success in delivery of support services and managing transformational change
  • Has experience of managing staff
  • Has an awareness of current IT developments and is a competent IT user
  • Has in depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and premises management regulations relevant to the education sector
  • Is calm under pressure and is sensitive to group needs and dynamics and can communicate and connect their own vision to that of others
