What skills and experience we're looking for
The Headteacher and Governors of Havannah Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic Afterschool Club Play Worker to join our friendly and hardworking school team in ‘Havannah Hangout’. The position is temporary in the first instance for one year, starting December 2025 / January 2026. Once the probation period is complete, there is potential to progress to the role of Out of Club Supervisor with additional duties and hours.
We are a small team so the applicant needs to be flexible and reliable. The successful candidate will work 9 hours per week, from 3pm – 6pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Term Time only. (38 weeks per year)
The role is to supervise children in our after-school club, prepare and creative appropriate play opportunities for them and organise snacks. The role includes working both inside and outside the school building as we encourage outdoor play when possible.
