What skills and experience we're looking for

The role:

Our adventure learning leaders are always looking for great people to join them, and right now are looking for Outdoor Learning Mentors to work with our Instructor Teams to support an outdoor education focused curriculum. Your role will include supporting the students in a range of outdoor & adventurous activities such as: Mountain Biking, Kayaking, Stand-up Paddleboarding, Rock Climbing and Orienteering as directed by the instructor.

About you:

  • You ideally have experience in a similar role
  • A highly motivated and flexible individual who can form positive relationships with students with a wide range of special needs in order to make a positive difference.
  • Someone with a particular interest in teaching students with special educational needs, including those with behavioural, emotional and social issues.
  • Resilience, patience and a sense of humour is a must.
  • Driver desirable but not essential.
