PA to Principal & SLT job summary
The Role
We are looking for an exceptional PA to the Principal and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to join our team. If you are an outstanding PA or Executive Assistant who would relish the chance to make your mark in a school, this is the perfect role for you.
This position provides the ideal opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic PA with vision to help shape an ethos of care, respect, high achievement and challenge. A recent Ofsted inspection in April 2019, graded the school as ‘Good’ overall with ‘Outstanding’ behaviour and leadership. Over the last three years, we have achieved:
A phenomenal increase in exam results from 39% to 76% of students gaining 5+ good passes including English and Maths
A Progress 8 score improvement from -0.45 to +0.6
A 150% increase in student numbers enrolling in Year 7, from 72 to 180
As the PA to the Principal and SLT you will provide a comprehensive executive support service that covers the needs of the Principal and SLT. The successful candidate will have experience and the skill set needed to provide high quality support including the confidence to problem solve and support the Principal and SLT to deliver the long term strategic and weekly operational objectives. The post holder will require the complete trust and confidence of the Principal, playing an important role in supporting SLT, as well as an understanding that confidentiality at all times is vital to the role. Due to the nature of the role the successful application will need to be flexible to support the needs of the Principal and SLT. They must have a calm and resilient quality with high degree of practicality to succeed.

The Totteridge Academy (TTA) is a brilliant secondary school in North London. With approximately 1000 students, and a new Sixth Form which opened in September 2020, TTA is continuing to grow and develop.
