PA to the Chief Executive (Maternity Cover) job summary

The Howard Academy Trust is seeking a highly effective Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive, to start from October 2025. This role will be based within the Central Operations Team of the Trust.

We are looking for an exceptional Personal Assistant to provide high-level executive support to our CEO. This is a key role requiring impeccable organisation, clear and confident communication, and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.

This is a full time, fixed term role, all year round, paid on the NJC pay scale C2 point 17-25 (FTE £31,022 - £36,363).

The working pattern will consist of 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday with a 30-minute unpaid break each day. This position is fixed term, up to 1 year, for the duration of the maternity cover period, with the opportunity for flexible working arrangements.
