Endike Academy are recruiting for a Part-Time Class Teacher. This role could be your next career opportunity.

This part-time post will be for a Year 5 class, two days per week, starting March 2026 to 31st August 2026

About the role

Be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in the classes ensuring equality of opportunity for all.

Be responsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct.

Treat pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher’s professional position.

Work proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with learners, parents/carers, governors, other staff and external agencies in the best interests of pupils.

Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.

Who we are looking for

Qualified teacher status

Evidence of sustained participation in INSET/CPD

Experience of teaching in KS1/KS2 Demonstrable evidence of high standards of class teaching

Practical understanding of effective teaching and evaluation strategies

An understanding of good inclusive education

Understanding/experience of using programmes such as RWI, Talk 4 Writing etc.

Committed to promoting the welfare of all children and creating a safe environment in which children can learn; considering, at all times, what is in the best interests of the child.
