Part Time Groundsperson Covering Two Schools job summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Grounds Person to join our site team in Wintringham Primary Academy and The Round House Primary Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the school grounds to a high standard, ensuring outdoor areas are safe, tidy, and welcoming for pupils and staff. Duties will include grass cutting, general grounds maintenance, basic repairs, and the safe use of gardening and maintenance equipment. Applicants must be able to be trained to operate a ride-on lawnmower and confidently use a range of power tools. The role requires someone who is practical, self-motivated, and able to work independently while taking pride in maintaining a clean and well-kept school environment. Previous grounds maintenance or caretaking experience is desirable.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
