Part-time Teacher of English (0.6 Maternity Cover) job summary

This is a truly exciting time to become part of our journey. The Cottesloe School is a rapidly growing, oversubscribed 11-19 secondary school, fresh from a £3 million expansion and eagerly anticipating the launch of our state-of-the-art million pound 3G pitch in September 2025!

We are looking for:

  • An enthusiastic part-time (0.6) teacher with a passion for English to cover maternity leave for up to one year - working Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
  • Someone with a good understanding of relevant curriculum areas across all Key Stages, including a good understanding of assessment and monitoring procedures.
  • A willingness to learn and apply new techniques that contribute to high quality teaching and learning.
  • A teacher who expects and demonstrates the highest standards and can enthuse a range of students with varying needs.
