What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Mathematics who is confident delivering the GCSE course. Our students are academically able and well-motivated and achieve excellent results. The post would be equally suitable for an ECT or an experienced teacher and the opportunity to teach A Level Maths and Core Maths could be available for a suitable candidate.

We are seeking a colleague who enjoys working in a team, can provide a stimulating atmosphere in the classroom and inspire our students. All teachers are expected to act as form tutors and to assist with the extra-curricular activities of the school and the teaching of associated subjects, e.g. Year 12 Enrichment, if required. Enthusiasm, patience and calmness under pressure are vital qualities. Please see the attached Person Specification for further details.
