What skills and experience we're looking for
Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar, Alford are looking to appoint a part-time teacher of Science for September 2026.
Ideally, we are looking for a colleague who is:
- A qualified teacher and outstanding practitioner.
- A talented and dynamic teacher who can teach KS3 and KS4, preferably with Biology as a specialism. (KS5 teaching would also be available for suitably qualified candidates).
- Energetic and can inspire and motivate students.
- Keen to join a successful and collaborative department with good resources.
The Science department attains excellent results and is experienced and supportive. It currently comprises a subject leader, five full time teachers, 1 part-time teacher and a science technician.
