What skills and experience we're looking for

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a new part-time Teacher to join our committed and skilled team at Parkfield Primary School in September 2025. The role will be primarily covering PPA and/or Leadership time, but could also include whole days in one class covering part-time class teachers.

This role would suit experienced teachers more but we also welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs). We are especially interested in receiving applications from candidates who would like to teach a specialist subject across the school, such as Music, PE or Art. The school can be flexible on the number and which days the successful candidate can work.

Our new Teacher will be:

  • An excellent role model to inspire and motivate all

  • A proven track record of high quality teaching

  • Passionate for equality

  • Reflective in their own practice

  • An uncompromising commitment to ensuring safeguarding, outstanding teaching and promoting well-being for every child.

What the school offers its staff

In return we can offer you:

  • A vibrant school community that celebrates diversity and values every individual

  • Enthusiastic and positive children, alongside supportive families who are active participants in the school’s life.

  • A nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

  • Tailored professional development, with support from experienced colleagues and leaders.

  • A modern, well-resourced school, featuring spacious indoor and outdoor learning environments, including environmental gardens and ample play spaces.

  • On-site parking and excellent transport links.
