Teaching Assistant (Part-time) for Nursery provision

Grade 3 £25,185-£25 989 pro rata (£13.05-13.47 per hour)
Temporary - Required as soon as possible and temporary until 31st August 2026
13 hours per week, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 08:30am-3:30pm, term time only

Stanhope Barrington CofE Primary School seek to appoint a part time teaching assistant to work as part of a friendly staff team.

Applicants should:

Hold a minimum of a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or above), in line with the EYFS statutory requirements.

Possess a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and demonstrate ambition in planning effectively for children's development.

Have a solid knowledge of child development principles and practises.

Be committed to safeguarding children and providing a safe, nurturing environment.

Be highly motivated, forward thinking and committed to high quality standards in our Nursery provision.

Be able to demonstrate sensitivity whilst working with others and have good interpersonal skills.

We require a Teaching Assistant who:

  • Is an experienced, outstanding classroom practitioner
  • Has an excellent knowledge of the curriculum
  • Works effectively as part of a class, key stage and whole school team
  • Can contribute to the wider school community
