Part-Time Teaching Assistant position (working in KS1 and KS2) job summary

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work 3 days/week Temporary contract in the first instance to cover maternity leave until 13th February 2026

About this role

We are seeking to appoint a Part-Time Teaching Assistant who shares the same passion and commitment to teaching and learning as we do at Wychwood C of E Primary School. We are a large rural school set in the heart of the beautiful Wychwood community on the edge of the Cotswolds. There is one part-time position available which would involve two days working in Key Stage 1 and one day in our Key Stage 2 team.

We are looking for a teaching assistant who:

is able to enthuse and inspire children

has excellent interpersonal skills with children, parents and staff

can contribute to a hard-working, committed team

will work with groups of children and with children on a one-to-one basis
