Part time: The post is for a part-time, teaching assistant for 15hrs and 25 mins The hours are - 8.40am - 12pm (with a 15min unpaid break), Monday - Friday, term time only.

The salary for this role will be £21,190 - £22,215 FTE

Actual salary will be - £7,470.69

What skills and experience we're looking for

The role will involve working in partnership with the class teacher, supporting groups of children in the classroom and delivering planned learning to groups or individuals. In addition, the role may also involve supporting pupils with specific learning and behavioural needs on a 1:1 basis.

Applicants will be required to:

  • Exhibit their commitment to maintaining a robust culture of safeguarding

  • Have GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C) including English and Maths
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills
  • Have the ability to build effective working relationships with pupils and adults
  • Have skills and expertise to understand the needs of all pupils
  • Show confidence in supporting children in their learning and wellbeing
  • A commitment to getting the best outcomes for all pupils
  • Actively participate in regular training and development
  • Maintain confidentiality
