Part Time Upper KS2 Teacher - 4 Days job summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Upper Key Stage 2 teacher to join our small, caring school community on a part-time, temporary basis, working Monday to Thursday until the end of the academic year.
This role involves teaching a mixed Year 5 and 6 class of 17 delightful pupils who are kind, motivated, and a joy to teach. Our children thrive in a calm, purposeful environment and are supported by a well organised curriculum that enables teachers to focus on high-quality teaching and meaningful learning.
We welcome applications from teachers at any stage of their career, including early career teachers and those with extensive experience. What matters most to us is a commitment to children, positive relationships, and high-quality teaching.
As a school, we are proud of our warm, supportive staff team, our calm and nurturing atmosphere, and our shared commitment to the full development of exceptional children, academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We truly are a small school with a big heart, where everyone is valued and encouraged to flourish.
As part of the Durham and Newcastle Diocesan Learning Trust, we are committed to recruiting great people who share our values, believe in the potential of every child, and are passionate about making a positive difference. You will benefit from being part of a wider Trust that values collaboration, professional growth, and strong relationships.
If you are looking to join a wonderful team, teach incredible children, and work in a supportive, values-led environment, we would be delighted to hear from you.
