St Bede’s Catholic Academy is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Parent Support Adviser to join our happy, successful, and supportive team.

The Role:

As our Parent Support Advisor, you will be a vital link between home and school, providing empathetic, practical support to families facing challenges that impact their child’s learning, wellbeing, or attendance. You will:

Act as a Designated Safeguarding Officer, ensuring the safety and welfare of our pupils.

Support our excellent attendance record through early intervention and collaboration.

Work closely with the Headteacher, Deputy Head, and Senior Leadership Team to deliver impactful family support.

Offer one-to-one guidance, signposting to external services, and facilitate parenting workshops.

Build trusting relationships with families, staff, and external agencies to create a cohesive support network.

The Ideal Candidate:

Experienced or trained as a Designated Safeguarding Lead or show willing to receive a high level of training for this role.

Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
