This role will suit an individual who has experience of working within an eductaion setting, promoting and encouraging improved school attendance.

It may may that you are an exsiting attendance officer who is looking for the next step into a pastoral role. You may be looking to advance your career or are looking to join a new setting where you can embrace a new challenge. Our team is very supportive, working well together to achieve overall improvements to childrens education.

This exciting role is pivatol to increasing the life chances of the children in our community. The main focus will be ensuring our children attend school, that we apply all attendance policies and procedures and support children and their families. This role links attendance and safeguarding together as they go hand-in-hand, experience in safeguarding would be a distinct advantage.

Our ideal applicant will be friendly, approachable and firm but fair. A non-judgemental outlook coupled with a good sense of humour will make you a success.
