Oxford Spires Academy are seeking a Pastoral Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing and motivating , as well as a passion for supporting students. You will be responsible for providing support to students and their families.
The role of the Pastoral Leader is a key role supporting the Heads of Years to guide and manage year groups. The role is significant and varied and includes supporting behaviour, safeguarding, attendance issues and encouraging participation in House events. The Pastoral Leader works closely with tutors and external agencies. To ensure consistency of expectations and behaviour during periods of teacher absence, the Pastoral Leader will also deliver a number of cover lessons throughout the week.
This is an exciting and unique opportunity for the right person. You should have excellent communication skills, be able to work as a highly effective team member and have exceptional time management skills.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification and will be subject to the relevant pre-employment checks which will, where applicable, include a health check, an enhanced DBS check, the Children’s Barred List check and satisfactory references.
