What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an exceptional Pastoral Manager to join our leadership team to help drive continued improvement to become a truly outstanding college in the eyes of young people and communities. You will play a crucial role in supporting the transition of young people and the training of a brand new staff team.
This is a key role and you will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Your initial priority will be to support the successful transition of young people into this brand new setting, liaising with professionals and families as appropriate.

- You will be committed to the safeguarding of young people.
Your role will be to lead the pastoral provision across the college including being Designated Safeguarding Lead. You will also be responsible for promoting students' socially valid behaviour choices through the use of positive intervention plans and empowering colleagues to do the same. You will be an exemplar of good practice and a leader of joint-practice development.
What the school offers its staff
Trent View College is a new post-16 special college in Scunthorpe opening in September 2023 - and we need talented, dynamic, committed leaders to build a new school community that inspires horizons and exceeds expectations for our young people.
Though based in Scunthorpe, there will be opportunities for you to work with other Academies within the Trust and to work with colleagues beyond the Trust.
