Pastoral Manager job summary

We wish to appoint a Pastoral Manager to join our school to work with Key Stage 3 or 4. Working alongside the Deputy Headteacher - Behaviour & Welfare, you will demonstrate commitment and a proactive solutions focussed approach in support of outstanding student behaviour and well-being.

You will have experience of working with young people and demonstrate a commitment to student progress and achievement. You will have the skills required to liaise effectively with parents/carers, students, teachers and other stakeholders. As a Pastoral Manager you will frequently be the person filtering information and tackling situations as they arise and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently are essential. You will be a self-motivated team player, able to use your own initiative and have a commitment to the school’s ethos, aims and its whole community.
