Pastoral Support Assistant and Deputy DSL

SCP A5, £25,583 per annum, pro-rata to £22,201 per annum for term time only working

Contract Term: Full time, Permanent, Term time only (39 weeks) , starting in September 2026

We are seeking an exceptional Pastoral Support Assistant and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead who believes, deeply and unwaveringly, that strong pastoral care and vigilant safeguarding are at the heart of transformational education.   • Can remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in complex or sensitive situations
  • Works proactively as part of a team, sharing information and supporting colleagues
  • Has the confidence to challenge where necessary to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students
  • Is reflective, resilient, and committed to continuous professional development
