An exciting new opportunity is now available at Chilwell Croft Academy as Pastoral Support Assistant to support the Assistant Headteacher.
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to working with children and their families. Be able to respect confidentiality, sensitivity to our pupils needs and possess the working knowledge of policies and procedures relating to safeguarding children.
You will play a key role in supporting the work of the Assistant Headteacher and SLT by assisting with providing high quality and effective safeguarding and pastoral support across the school. Assist with peer-to-peer mentoring and delivery of small group or one to one interventions to meet the needs of pupils.
Possessing previous experience of working with children and or families, the successful applicant will also develop and enrich school pastoral support, pupil wellbeing, and admissions and transitions for our pupils. You will be a point of contact with parents/carers in relation to pastoral care, attendance, medical and behavioral matters. Liaising with teaching staff and senior leaders as required. You will also assist in follow-up of all correspondence from parents/carers to ensure enquiries have been dealt with. This role will also include ensuring statutory returns and process administration is completed.
