Pastoral Support Assistant job summary
Isebrook School is a successful specialist setting for 250 students aged 11-18 with a broad spectrum of special educational needs and learning disabilities.
We are seeking to recruit a Pastoral Support Assistant to work within our expanding pastoral team. The role will entail you supporting students to self-regulate and supporting staff in establishing safe and effective learning environments for all students. Working as a front line member of the pastoral team you will need to have the skills and resilience to support students who may be experiencing difficulties in accessing their learning.
The Pastoral Support Assistant will work closely with the Pastoral team and Key Stage Leaders to ensure students are engaged in their learning. The successful candidate will use de-escalation techniques and Restorative Repair (training will be offered) to support staff to maintain and manage positive relationships.
