Pastoral Support Assistant job summary
We are seeking to recruit a Pastoral Support Assistant to work within our school, who is committed to supporting the school's work of engaging students in learning. The role will entail you supporting students to self-regulate and supporting staff in establishing safe and effective learning environments for all students, working as a front line member of the pastoral team in supporting students who may be experiencing emotional difficulties.
The Pastoral Support Assistant will work closely with the Deputy Headteacher and the Pastoral team in supporting students to re-engage in their learning, and as a trainer in de-escalation techniques and restorative repair in school (training will be offered) will support staff to maintain and manage positive relationships.
