Pastoral Support Assistant & Study Supervisor (6th Form) job summary

We are seeking to appoint a full time (32.5 hours, Term Time plus 1 week) Pastoral Support Assistant and Study Supervisor at Rainham Mark Grammar School. This is a permanent position and the successful applicant will be assisting the pastoral staff in student management, wellbeing, safeguarding and pastoral care, in particular mental and physical first aid, administrative support for the pastoral team and supervise the 6th Form study area.

You will be organised with the ability to work under pressure with conflicting deadlines and be able to demonstrate a high level of administrative skills including dealing with confidential and sensitive material. You will be the first point of contact for parents in relation to pastoral issues so will have the confidence to deal with parents, attending meetings and other matters relating to the role.
