Pastoral Support Manager job summary
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Mentor and develop strong relationships with individual students to improve behaviour and conduct around school.
- Manage the school isolation room provision and the after-school detention process on a day-to-day basis.
- Support Heads of Year and SLT members to investigate behavioural incidents.
- Analyse behavioural and attendance data to ensure there is clear understanding of issues in school.
- Provide reliable administrative support to process behavioural and punctuality data.
- Develop strong relationships with parents and the local community in order to support our students, including involvement in home visits to support students.
- Liaise with Heads of Year, Year TAs, the SEND team, the Attendance team and our Student Support Hub to effectively support all of our students, including those with SEND and those who are vulnerable.
