PASTORAL SUPPORT OFFICER

We are looking to appoint, for September 2019, an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to support the attendance and progress of disadvantaged students by working collaboratively with parents, inclusion staff across all key stages and other professionals. This post will also work with the Inclusion Team in identifying barriers to learning and engagement, producing and supporting individual plans to enable improvement.

The successful candidate will have:
• the ability to support and motivate students
• the ability to identify potential barriers to learning
• the ability to work effectively with colleagues as part of a team and individually
• the ability to relate to children and other adults
• good literacy and numeracy skills
• the ability to effectively use a computer and the desire to learn new computer skills
