Job Title: Pastoral Support Officer
Actual Annual Salary: £26,513 - £28,924 (Based on 37 hours per week, term time only)
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £30,963 - £33,779 (CLF Grade D). Based on 37 hours per week, all year round.
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday / Term time only + 5 inset days
Provisional Start Date: 1st September 2025
Bristol Brunel is looking for a Pastoral Support Officer, who will promote and safeguard students’ welfare and personal development. They will help to facilitate and
encourage a learning environment, which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential and have a positive school experience.
About you:
You will demonstrate:
A good understanding of safeguarding within an educational setting or transferable knowledge of safeguarding.
Experience of developing and maintaining good relationships with students and having appropriate contact with families and carers of children.
A keen interest in working with children and young people and a commitment to improving the life chances of students.
Commitment to continuous improvement through professional development, self-evaluation, and awareness.
