Pastoral Support Officer job summary

37 hours per week term time only, plus PD days as required

Hours 8.30 to 4.30 M-Th, 8.30 to 4.00 Friday (30-minute lunch break)

Grade/Salary: Grade 8 – Point 19 – 22 (Actual Salary - £26,032 to £27,374)

Start Date: As soon as possible.

The position is permanent, following the usual 6 month probationary period.

Join Ludlow CE School to work as a Pastoral Support Officer, supporting the school to operate safely and efficiently and enabling the students and staff to be the best they can be.

What are we looking for?

Ludlow School is seeking to appoint a professional, confident, flexible and well-organised person to work as a Pastoral Support Officer. The aim of the role is to support the emotional, educational and physical wellbeing of students and contribute to the overall good order within the school, including behaviour management. As well as promoting the general progress and achievement of our students.

Safeguarding and wellbeing of our students underpins everything we do at Ludlow CE School and the applicant will be expected to support and develop this.
